breederdays, clubmatches, shows etc........ 14 June 2008 On saturday we were at the show from KC de Baronie in Hulten. the Wetterhounen were judged by Mrs. Reijniers. 1 Male and 5 bitches were present. Rozebottel's Rikbertht Rijkman was in the veterans-classe and got an Excelent with the veteran-CAC. At the bitches we had in thee puppie-classe, Frieske fan de Frije Wetters, she got the qualification very promissing in the youth-classe Fenna fan 't Frije Hiem, she got a Very Good in the open-classe Amerens Semke Vroman an 2 Very Good and Ruffa van de Kapelberg an 1 Excelent in the champions-classe Aaltine fen 't Blommehof an 1 Excelent. Ruffa became best bitch and got the CAC(IB) and she also became BOB. Aaltine got the reserve CAC(IB) Now that Ruffa is 27 months, she now became Dutch Champion!. Birgitta en Thomas congratulations with this titel ! In the mainring Ruffa also became 10th in the gundog group.   Ruffa, best bitch, best off breed and 10th in the group. Bertht best veteran  having a good time 12 April 2008 The NVSW clubmatch is for us THE event off the year, so we went early this morning to Zutphen with Biker and Rinke. Rinke her coat was not in a good condition, but she likes to show so much , so we took her with us. Ruffa was there to defend her clubwinner-titel. More dogs from our kennel were Tjinke, Edou Tjalling, Sytske, Sille and Rinne-Roos. 332 dogs were registered, 89 Wetterhounen and 243 Stabij's. Sille, Sytske and Rinne Roos, belonged to the youngest showdogs. But even in this overwhelming experiance they were doing so well....... they made me proud. The judge ( mrs de Vries- Hoogland) was very pleased with them and qualified them all as very promissing. Sille was even placed 3rd between the older puppies in the ring so that was very good. The two brothers Tjinke and Edou were doing also very well with a Very Good qualification, but they were not the type this judge, Mr. Meersman, wanted to see. Ruffa became 1st in the openclasse with an Excelent qualification, and also Rinke became 1st in the championsclass with an Excelent. Mother and daughter had to compete, with the 3 bitches from the other classes, in the mainring now for best bitch. Finally Ruffa became 1st and Rinke became 2nd. Happely Surprised as we were to see that with the males Beau fan 'e Fryske Merk, ( ruffa's father) became best male, and 2d best male was Rozebottel's Rikbertht Rijkman, the veteran who is Rinke her father and Ruffa's grandfather. So it became a family-party, as you can see on the photo. ( with thanks to Maria Heijming). Our Stabij Biker got a Very Good qualification in a very big openclass, so we were also very pleased with that, because they can't all be a champion.    Offcourse there were more winners, and they are all very proud. So now all the class-winners in line......
15 th March 2008 It has bin a while that we showed our dogs, but this weekend we drove to Leiden to show our Biker. 16 Stabij's were present. Our Biker got an Excelent and second place in the open class male. We were very pleased with this qualification. Judge R. Lochs-Romans wanted to be, Eyke van Holwerda Sathe her best male. Joera Lobke fan 't Koekoeswald became her best bitch and also BOB. Our congratulations to the owners off the winning dogs. 24th Februari 2008 So now and then, we like to join the owners from dogs, which are born in our kennel, to a show. Today i went with Birgitta and Ruffa van de Kapelberg Finnish Junior Winner '06, Finnish Winner '06 Swedish Winner '06, Nordic Winner '07 and CW '07 to Gent (B). A very nice day in a typicle Belgium entourage. Iff you show a Stabij or Wetterhoun in a foreign country you are proberbly alone in the ring. So the same this time. Still we were very happy with the Excelent qualification and the praising words off the Dutch judge, Mr. W. Wellens. In the mainring there was , unfortunatly, an Englisch judge, so like we expected, no placing for the Dutch breeds. Again we travell all the way to Limburg, this time to Maastricht. For a showcompetition with 12 other Stabijs, hoping to get the title best male/ best bitch. Judge Rutten has the honour to judge them. He chose our Biker to be his best male. Miene-Meis Twinke fan 't Saksenhiem became his best bitch and she became best off breed and had to show herself in the mainring. Our congratulations go to Mrs. Heijmink who not only is the owner but also the breeder off this lovely bitch. For us this result was a complete surprise, because all the stabijs were beautifull,so we were very happy! Now the complete results off the day:

Our Biker has now his second qualification so we hope that the NVSW is prepared to except him for breeding. Int. show in Echt on 1st Juli 2007 Unexpected it became a very sunny day in Echt ( Limburg), where only 8 Stabijhounen came for a judgement from Mrs R. Lochs- Romans. 5 Males and 3 females. Her best male is Sibbe-Douwe fan 't Koekoekswald, a very nice young male. Her best bitch is Suske-Wiske fan 't Koekoekswald, a sister off the best male. So a very succesfull day for the breeder, Amanda Uytdehaag. Our Biker became second in the open class and got an Excelent. So we are very happy with this qualification. It confirms that our feeling is well that Biker is better than the first judge wanted us to believe.  the open class males  the best male and best bitch  All the qualifications off the day:

CLUBMATCH 2007 On the 26th off April 1947 the NVSW is started, and because off this 60th anyversary off the NVSW this great championships- clubmatch was organised. After many years in Barneveld, this year we had to go to the Hanzehallen in Zutphen. It was very warm this day, but in the hall te climate was well, we had a lot off space and a friendly atmosphere. With thanks to the good floor and lot off space the dogs could show a good movement. 78 wetterhounen and 225Stabijhounen were doing there best to show their qualities. However all the dogs have there own qualities, we want to know what the judge think off them and who is the most beautifull. Now the complete results off the match:
  Congratulations to all these winners, and ower special congratulations to the owners off both Clubwinners, Bobby fan 't Drentse Hiem en Ruffa van de Kapelberg. Our
Biker did not get a very nice qualification, so with him we were a
little disappointed, but the winning off Ruffa, made that we
forget that. We were so proud with her, that she follows her mothers
steps....
We hope to enjoy the match next year again. Breedersday spring 2007 On the 31st off March 2007 our litter off Rinke and Beau was invited for the breeders-/ familyday. Its' a new experiance for most off the people and their dogs, so most off us are a bit insecure in the beginning. You don't know what to expect and what is expected from you and your dog in the ring. The young dogs are in a crowd for the first time in their lives so some are a bit reserved or nervous. The owners will have asked themselves how their dog will react on such a day. But after this day now we can say that all our dogs are very nice and stable dogs, they all behaved very well this day. They have all showed a very friendly charactre. They have a loving and caring family around them. And we can only say that everyone can be proud off their dog. That the judge also loved this litter with their appearance, well build body's and great movements, and the fact that all the dogs are healthy made me as breeder most happy with this litter.
